Meet Our Pastors

Ps Uzor Ndekwu

Prophet Uzor Ndekwu

General Overseer

The sixth child of a family of ten children, Prophet Uzor Ndekwu is a native of Ubulu-Uku in Delta State, Nigeria. His full commitment to the Lord, Jesus Christ, came after the death of his eldest brother in 1991. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, he was working in Savannah Bank Nigeria as a credit officer when he was suddenly promoted to the position of Branch Manager, despite being three grades below this position. This revealed the reality of God’s miracles to him.

Ordained in 1998 as an assistant pastor in RCCG in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, he was sent forth to start up a new branch that took off on 4th February 1999 under a mango tree in his home with fourteen people in attendance. This branch grew to over six hundred people in attendance by the following year.

In August 2001, God revealed to him in a dream that he should leave RCCG to set up his own ministry. In September 2001, he resigned from his position as Area Manager in the banking industry and went into full-time ministry. Eventually, on 14th April 2002, as revealed to him in a dream, Jesus Sanctuary Ministries was established in Onitsha, Nigeria. He left Nigeria with his family for the UK to establish Jesus Sanctuary Ministries in April 2006, leaving the running of the branches in Nigeria to his pastors.

He started the media arm of the ministry in 1999 with a weekly broadcast, ‘Word of Faith,’ at the Minaj TV Obosi, Nigeria, every Sunday by 1pm. He moved the broadcast to NTA Asaba, Nigeria in 2004. ‘Word of Faith’ was an instant success, attracting millions of viewers. He is now on Faith World TV, which has a large outreach to most of Europe, the United States, and Africa, with ‘Jesus Sanctuary Ministries’ on Mondays to Fridays at 10am, Saturdays at 2pm and 10pm, and Sundays at 1.30pm.

As an author that writes based on biblical insights and real-life experiences, Prophet Uzor has written several books that reveal deep, spiritual insights that are vital to one’s success, particularly as a child of God.

He is married to Uzo Ndekwu, who is also a pastor, and they have three lovely children.’

Pastor Uzoamaka Ndekwu

Pastor (Mrs) Uzo Ndekwu

Resident Pastor

Pastor (Mrs) Uzo Ndekwu (née Nkemena) is the wife of Prophet Uzor Ndekwu. She is the last in a family of four children.

She had a strong Christian heritage: her grandfather being a bishop in the Anglican Church, and her father being a knight.

She graduated from the University of Benin in Nigeria with a BSc Honours in Biochemistry. She thereafter worked for Premier Breweries plc in Nigeria before resigning in April 1994.

She was ordained a deaconess in RCCG, and later became a pastor in 2006. An incident that took place in 1999 paved the way for her entry into publications. Quite by accident, she discovered that she had a flair for writing and took up the publications department of Jesus Sanctuary Ministries, publishing the weekly bulletin, prayer point guides for the church programmes, and later on, the Sunday school manual.

She oversees the women’s wing in the church, ‘Wonderful Women,’ based upon a four-point agenda revealed to her by God, encompassing Prayer, Evangelism, Visitaion and Welfare.
